It only took 11 months and 2 days

Last spring I wrote my second blog post since this website started in 2019 when we leaped into the adventure of writing and publishing fiction.

I lamented about people who feel the need to post on social media about anything and everything they do and everywhere they go. And in doing so I discovered that some people really like seeing posts like that.

And most unexpectedly the two people I heard from are people I regularly follow, one family and one friend, who post often about their lives and I always enjoy seeing their posts. They felt like, because of my blog post, maybe they are posting too much. So it occurred to me that I was in the wrong. People do like that, including me, and I gave my word that if people responded and said they wanted to see that, I would start doing it.

So here I am. Not quite a full year later, getting ready to post something about my day, or week or month, or year. I’ve got a lot to pull from since it took me so long to actually get back on here and do that.

So here we go. A very brief photo summary of the last year.

Last spring we got to watch our grandson graduate from 5th grade! Proud of him, he’s a fun kid to have around! We live too far apart though!

So that’s it for today and I really will do my best this time to do a blog post more than once a year [or once every 4 years!). How does that sound?

P.S. And thank you Rory and Jeri for inspiring me to do this and also thank you that I didn’t discourage you from regular posting.

P.S.S. And by the way, I will say I still don’t like seeing posts of bloody wounds by people I barely know, but most everything else is okay. 🙂
